Medieval Structures Mod adds building blocks specializing in medieval European architecture. It introduces highly detailed and diverse variations of building blocks, primarily focusing on three wood types: Oak, Spruce, and Dark Oak.
Additional Main Building Material Categories
Medieval Structures Mod adds an abundance of building materials in the following categories to accurately represent medieval European architecture, especially the detailing of timber framing (half-timbered).
These building materials are available in three wood types: "Oak," "Spruce," and "Dark Oak."
1. Beams
- These are the basic elements of a building's roof and ceiling structure, available as "Beam" and "Cross Beam".
- There are also variants that can be attached to the sides of walls.
2. Beams with Brackets
- These are Beams with a "Bracket" (corbel) design that protrudes diagonally from a wall or pillar, supporting a roof or upper floor.
- More intricate shape variations are also available, such as chamfered and L-shaped designs.
3. Timber
- These are thin framing blocks used to create half-timbered style wall surfaces.
- They come in horizontal and vertical variations, allowing you to freely draw patterns on the wall.
4. Pillars
- These are "Pillar" blocks that support the structure of the building.
- In addition to simple timber pillars, variations with a "Stone Base" (such as stone, round stone, brick, or cobblestone) are also supported.
- There are also types where the bracket extends directly from the pillar.
5. Beams with Lanterns
